Industrial designer; he worked with the Research Center of the Istituto Europeo di Design (1966-2000), where he was project manager for companies such as Lego Futura, Gillette, Fiat, Sunstar, Oral-B, Lavazza, and Bosch. He collaborated with Giulio Iacchetti and Matteo Ragni on the development of research and technical projects (1999-2006). Since 1999, he has been a consultant at the studio "Design Innovation," where he coordinates bionic research projects and concept design for companies like Fiat, Piaggio, Tensoforma, and Ariete. In 2008, he co-founded the studio "Ildoppiosegno" with Monica Ferrigno, which has a dual identity: one for industrial design and one for research and experimentation. Key clients include: United Pets, Status, Bayer, Emmegi, Piazza, and Fratelli Mariani. He teaches at the IED in Milan, Turin, and Madrid, as well as at IULM in Milan; he also gives bionics lectures at the Technological Institute of Aragon in Zaragoza. He participates in "BIOMA," an international symposium on bionics and design at the University of Aveiro.
