Enrico Azzimonti, architect and designer, founded his own studio in 1994, currently located in an early 20th-century factory on the 19th-century Napoleonic Simplon road that connected Milan with Paris. A designer by passion, in his Studio his daily goal is design innovation and product perfection, collaborating with companies so that Italian industrial design is the winning strategy for the international market. He passionately tackles small product series as well as large productions, bringing design culture to every challenge proposed to him. During his 20 years of experience, he has collaborated with IUAV in Venice and San Marino, La Sapienza University in Rome, Istituto Marangoni in Milan, and has been teaching at the European Institute of Design in Milan for more than 10 years. Working so that functionality is the backbone of industrial design, capable of satisfying real needs through visions, concepts and projects that are important and simple, he has collaborated with companies such as Lavazza, Lumen Center Italia, TVS, Fratelli Guzzini, Coop and Jvc. His works are featured in the specialized press, in competitions, exhibitions and shows, in Italy and abroad. A selection of his projects is part of the permanent collection of the Museu de les Arts Decoratives in Barcelona. In 2017 he was awarded the Platinum A'Design Award at the Street Furniture Design Competition.
