After completing a diploma at the Istituto d’arte di Parma and studies in communication and design at the Università del Progetto di Reggio Emilia, Ilaria worked for two years in the university’s professional studio. Since 1993, she has devoted herself to freelance work, alternating between industrial design, graphic design and illustration. She designs objects and undertakes graphic design projects as well as following communications in the fields of organic agriculture and biodiversity. In her projects, her aim is to develop ideas that are fluid and essential; useful and conscious of the planet’s future; joyful and nomadic; curious about new forms of expression and ways of living. Companies she has worked for include: Barilla, Coop, Coin, Comfort Zone, Lavazza, Mandarina Duck, Nemo, Jacuzzi, United Pets, Azienda Agraria Sperimentale Stuard Exhibitions.She collaborated with Mirri for this project. Miriam Mirri lives and works in Milan. Her creativity joins many artistic disciplines, from design objectsup to graphic. And objects fascinate Miriam: objects that can tell a story or send posts. Born Bologna (Italy) and with an academic education in her hometown, she collaborates first with several International design studios over the years: with Nigel Coates in London, with the Università del Progetto-office in Reggio Emilia and Stefano Giovannoni in Milan. In 2000 she starts her own business as a freelance designer: in twelve years she collaborates with the most innovative Italian and foreign companies in design and lifestyle industry. Such as: Alessi, Barilla, Bassetti, Bysteel, Gruppo Coin, Henkel, Seiko, Swarovski. She designs objects that immediately capture public preferences: tableware, kitchen accessories, animals, creatures for night and day, watches, accessories and furnishings.
