Ilaria Gibertini was born in Parma on January 30, 1970. She earned her Artistic High School diploma and studied design and communication at the University of Project in Reggio Emilia. Since 1993, she has worked as a freelancer, alternating between industrial and graphic design projects. Among the companies she has collaborated with are Artista Visitatore Associati, Mandarina Duck, Nemo (part of the Cassina Group), Outlook Zelco, Rosenthal, and United Pets. She has participated in international exhibitions and shows. For this project, she collaborates with Giulio Iacchetti, who has been involved in industrial design since 1992. In addition to her design work, she teaches at various universities and design schools in Italy and abroad. She has received several international awards. In 2001, she and Matteo Ragni won the Compasso d'Oro with the biodegradable multi-use cutlery "Moscardino," which is now part of the permanent design collection at MoMA in New York. For Coop, she conceived the project "Design alla Coop" and is currently responsible for coordinating the Coop Eureka project and the artistic direction of iB Rubinetterie. Her clients include Bialetti, Casamania, Caimi Brevetti, Desalto, De Vecchi, Ferrero, F.lli Guzzini, Foscarini, iB Rubinetterie, Mandarina Duck, Meritalia, Sambonet, Pandora Design, and Thonet Vienna.
