Henry Azzimonti

Architect and designer Enrico Azzimonti founded his own studio in 1994 in an earlier ‘900 factory that looks onto Sempione, the nineteenth-century Napoleonic road that links Milan with Paris. Driven by a passion for design, his aim is project innovation and product perfection. He works together with firms to promote the Italian industrial design and make it a key point for international success. He manages small products as well as big products with enthusiasm, bringing design culture to every project. During his twenty-years experience, he worked with Venice and San Marino IUAV, with the University La Sapienza in Rome, with the Istituto Marangoni in Milan and as a teacher with Istituto Europeo di Design in Milan for ten years. He has collaborated with famous brands like Lavazza, Lumen Center Italia, TVS, Fratelli Guzzini, Coop and JVC, guided by the belief that functionality should be the backbone of the industrial design to ensure the real needs are satisfied thanks to simple but important visions and concepts. His projects have been displayed in several professional magazines worldwide. These projects have been quoted and awarded both in Italy and abroad, and some of them are permanently shown in Barcelona, at Museu del les Arts Decoratives.
