Libero Rutilo, born in Montreal, spent his youth alternating between Italy and Canada. After the graduation in Industrial Design at the University of Montreal, in 2005, Libero Rutilo moved to Milan where he worked with Alessandro Mendini and other leading design firms.Ekaterina Shchetina was born in Krasnodar city, southern Russia. She showed a natural artistic aptitude ever since a young age and her studies in Fine Arts. She too felt the call to move to Milan, where she completed her studies and began working in the field of interior design. In 2012 Libero and Ekaterina found DesignLibero - multidisciplinary design studio that offers creative services in interior, product, graphic design and art direction for leading companies.Their works received numerous internationals design awards and have been selected by some of influential museums such as: la Triennale, the Base and Telefonica Foundation.
