She was born in New Delhi, India in 1958. She lived her childhood in India, Thailand and Austria. In 1973 she moved with her family to Milan, where she graduated in Industrial Design from the Scuola Politecnica di Design in 1979. In 1981 she began collaborating with Alessandro Mendini, an experience that led her to participate in the Alchimia group, in several projects for the firm Alessi, and as an undergraduate assistant at MAK, Academy for Applied Arts in Vienna. Later she worked as a freelancer for several firms in the industry. Teaching is a constant interest in his activities. He organizes workshops in India (NID, Ahmedabad), in France (Craft Enad Limoges) and in Italy at ISIA in Faenza, at the University of Reggio Emilia project.ealla Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti in Milan. From 2000to 2003 together with Cesare Castelli he managed the Home Department of the Dept.Store Fiorucci in Milan and Verona, dealing with the research of new products.
