Miriam Mirri was born in Bologna and lives and works in Milan. After high school in Anatomical Drawing, she studied design and communication at the University of Design since 1990. She has collaborated with several studios in Italy and abroad and in 2000 she started her activity as a designer of objects and graphic projects. She has designed tableware, animal care accessories, nocturnal and diurnal creatures, clocks, complements, and furniture objects, collaborating with Alessi, MandarinaDuck, Seiko, Henkel, Corian®DuPont, Häagen-Dazs, Meritalia, Bassetti, Coop, CoinCasa, Whirlpool, Bysteel, and UnitedPets, among others. He gave design workshops at the University of Design until 2001, at Domus Academy and speeches at various design schools. He has participated in national and international exhibitions, among the most recent: The New Italian Design, Milan Triennale 2007, Italian Cultural Institute Madrid, santralistanbul Istanbul 2010 - Triennale Design Museum, 1st and 2nd editions Milan 2008-2009 - D as Design.
